Here are the best cheap hotels in Boulder!

1. St Julien Hotel and Spa
The hotel is very nice. The food at Jill's Bistro is delicious! I love housekeeping will leave you with some chocolate in the evening. It feels very fancy without being over the top. The staff is also very nice. Pro tip! Use the waiter! They are really amazing and very fast!
2. Hyatt Place Boulder / Pearl Street
Great staff, wonderful free breakfast, and nice rooms. They welcomed us at check-in with candy bars and water. The rooms were nice, overlooking the Flat Irons, with a separate reading area. The breakfast was really good, with lots of hot and cold options.
3. Hotel Boulderado
Thank you, the owner and staff of Boulderado for making our stay as beautiful as the hotel itself. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it and am happy to say the hotel lives up to its reputation.
4. Basecamp Boulder
Everything about our stay here was great! Super clean and convenient to University. We were there during a snowstorm and we walked to get burgers next door, which were yummy. They had a beer and wine and breakfast available for purchase.
5. Residence Inn by Marriott Boulder
This RI has been updated, the rooms are spacious, fully furnished, clean and comfortable. The friendly staff and the hotel clearly have aback. Specially well located in a quiet office park, convenient for everything Boulder. Great rates available - will be here for long.
6. Millennium Harvest House
I have been at the Millennium hotel many times because of its location and value (usually under $ 100 per night). It is located close to the campus, on a bike path, near a bike-sharing station, on a river, and offers great views of the Flat Irons.
Breakfast was good. This is my hotel in Boulder when I visit my college students because of the location and value. The courtyard in the back is also a great amenity. IF you are looking for 4 or 5 stars, you should consider other hotels in the city center (Boulderado).
The common areas and rooms of the millennium are often remodeled or in need of remodeling. If you are looking for Fancy, you need to keep searching. If you are looking for a great location, the clean, historic hotel at a great price, then try the Millennium.
7. Boulder University Inn
This is basically a luxury vacation home - and a pretty good deal for downtown Boulder. A U-shaped building, two floors, an external staircase to the second floor, a small office/breakfast area. The room is clean, basic but functional decoration.
Fast service. The HVAC units are noisy - more or less what you expect in a motel (or a Sheraton hotel, for that matter). The bathroom doesn't seem to have its own heating, so it gets cold in the winter.
Sound insulation could be better - quite a lot of noise from Broadway (The Boulder Broadway is not as noisy as New York Broadway, but they're trying). Near the Pearl Street pedestrian area. Breakfast included is fairly basic, but it works.
If you are looking for something more substantial than a bagel, check out cafes on Pearl St.
8. Courtyard by Marriott Boulder
The staff is fantastic. I broke my arm and John helped my friend and I carry the luggage and was very polite and helpful. He even put the luggage keeper in our room and put the suitcases on it. Every interaction with the entire staff is a pleasure! A truly memorable experience.
9. Best Western Plus Boulder Inn
Very good price, and great room. This room has a sink with a very large counter and very large closets, a large mirror. And a separate restroom with a door. Great set-up, as many of us, need the counter space.
I believe they are not safe in the room, at least I have not seen. I always needed a safe, but for one night here, it was fine.
The bed is huge compared to most kings, I stayed in five hotels to go fast and this is the biggest and very comfortable bed. The AC was a little noisy, but I was tired and slept well. The swimming pool is very nice and the hot tub is in a room by itself.
This hotel is located directly off the highway, we had no problem of noise. Lots of restaurants and not far from Pearl street for shopping and eating, about the seven-minute drive.
Dining lots to select from across the street. You can walk across the main busy road with no problem. They offer free breakfast with many good options. The front desk will provide tickets for this buffet. Free parking.
10. Rodeway Inn & Suites at The Boulder Broker
We stayed here one night after a canceled flight at DIA with no available rooms nearby.
We arrived at the beginning of the hour and were inspected quickly and efficiently. The room is spacious and clean with good working air.
There is a fridge, sofa, microwave as well as a very comfortable queen bed with good pillows. Bathing is good. The hotel is dated but still retains many of the old features and décor that I find fascinating.
Yes, it smells of the pot, but it's Colorado legal place! The staff is very friendly. Great value for money and in a good location too.
