Top 10 Cheap hotels in St. Petersburg

Here are the best cheap hotels in St. Petersburg!

1. Pushka Inn Hotel

I stayed at the Pushka hotel with my friend for two nights in February. We have decided on Pushka because of its prime location and competitive off-season prices. The reception desk is very helpful in arranging the necessary documents for our visa applications, and please respond to our request for a quiet room on the upper floor.

They answer every question we have promptly and fully solve all problems. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, overall the hotel is elegant and peaceful. However, what stands out is the staff service.

They advised and booked meals for us as well as provided helpful sightseeing advice. I must admit I was a little surprised at the high level of service and friendliness because before traveling to Russia I had heard that the customer service level was generally low and the people perhaps a bit unfriendly.

I am pleased to say all of this was wrong, and I had nothing but positive interactions with the Russian people. I am eager to return and see more of this country. Thank you Pushka Inn!

2. Hotel Saint Petersburg

Stayed overnight 31st December - a double room, with seating area and river view cost GBP50 for the night: including huge buffet breakfast served until 1 pm (on New Year's Day).

The tv was of good quality with multiple channels available. Comfortable sofas and drinks fridge (minibar) are well stocked. There was a writing desk, too. The big bed is fine from which we can see the floor to ceiling windows.

Choose your time to visit and you can get a bargain price. The breakfast buffet was the biggest and most varied I have ever come across: it was a treat to eat! Check-in and check out was easy - and when I booked a taxi from the hotel, it was unmarked and seemed to be a great quality hotel car.

The nearest public transport is a tram. I commend this hotel for all these reasons and that it is close to the city center.

3. Anabel at Nevsky 88

Anabel Hotel is located in one of the large courtyards brought in through an archway on Nevsky Prospect. It has a great location not far from the Fontanka Canal, Fabergé Museum and Anna Akhmatova Apartment Museum (in Liteyney Prospects).

The Hermitage is a fifteen-minute walk or a bus down Nevsky Prospect. The Moscow railway station is nearby.

The hotel was our favorite of the five we stayed at in Russia.
It was a very quiet place in an old St Petersburg building. The receptionist is always very helpful and friendly. The room is very comfortable. Great wi-fi.

We are on the fourth floor, to the stairs or a small elevator. Our rooms were near the breakfast and sitting area where coffee and tea are available all day. The ladies who cook breakfast for the four or five tables of guests are delightful and are keen to cook omelets or offer porridge.

There was also a variety of cold meats, cheese, fruit, and vegetables to choose from. We enjoyed eating at Marcelli's restaurant nearby on the corner of Nevsky Prospect and Rubinstein Ulitsa. There is a great bakery right near the entrance to the porch and various souvenir shops.

4. Majestic Boutique Hotel Deluxe

This hotel is ideal if you are staying in Saint Petersburg for a few days. This hotel is located in the city center, near the famous Nevsky Prospekt, where all the attractions of the city are concentrated.

The hotel is very designed, the rooms are warmly decorated and the staff is nice.
A welcome drink is proposed upon arrival. Breakfast is very various and everything is fresh. I recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Saint Petersburg in 2-3 days.

5. Arkada

When I say hidden, I mean it! It was hard to find and at first, I almost turned and left the facility (really!). You have to enter through an internal parking lot belonging to an old condominium.

After you find the entrance (must ask at least three people) and go up to the floors of the old building, expecting the worse, enter the beautiful hidden gem! Great:
⁃ Service
⁃ Setting
⁃ Rooms
⁃ Amenities
⁃ Water, coffee and tea are always available with biscuits
⁃ Sleeping quality
⁃ Bathrooms!

All pretty great and in a very convenient location. I would always go back!

6. 5th Corner Hotel

On my last visit, I was in a single room (307), but this time, I was across the hall at 306, a much larger room. Even the # rooms face an ugly yard, but the odd numbers are on the main road, it's a bit noisy when you open all 3 huge windows, but it's much nicer than it feels like you're in.

In a big city, it's you know that it's warm, I realize how alive this part of the city is at night. Rubenstein Street, just to the left, is the restaurant block of St. Petersburg. SO many great choices!

And now it's morning until 11 pm, I feel like I'm back in Madrid - dinner at 10 or 11 is normal! Anyway, this room is more comfortable and quieter at night - maybe the walls are thicker?

The bathroom is bigger and better, and the sitting area comfortably seats 4 or 5 people. Breakfast is good if a bit redundant (I'm here 8 days). Great bakery/cafe (8-22) directly across the street as well as CHEAP mom & pop kebab rest.

Grocery in the basement is now a liquor store, so you have to walk a little further to the right on the same side as the hotel to find 2 small grocery stores. Really excellent central location.

7. Station Hotel Z12

An unlimited supply of water (both cold and hot) and coffee and tea are available for 24 days. Located at a distance of 2-3 minutes from the metro station/bus stop and hence the easy approach to different important points of attractions of the city.

The only backdrop I felt is with breakfast as there is the same menu of breakfast every day. Nothing has changed and it seems they only have a standard buffet breakfast.

8. Nevsky Breeze Hotel

We stayed there for three nights and we loved it: strategic location, cheap, clean, very kind staff, delicious breakfast. You don’t need anything else from a dignities hotel in the very center of Saint Petersburg next to the main touristic sites. I sincerely recommend it.

9. Akyan St.Petersburg

I really like this hotel. Nice location and friendly staff. I had to check early when my flight landed at 0600 hours and had to pay extra for privileges. If not, highly recommended and good value.

10. Shelfort Hotel

A wonderful jewel in the crown. When it was old, it was retained for me simply to be wonderful. and I will be back. It's so close to the city. Fresh breakfast and homemade tea/coffee/cake are available all day in the entertainment room. The staff are very helpful and speak English .. I just like it, and for a good price ...
